This week’s message continued our series on the parables of Jesus, focusing on how the Kingdom of God stands in stark contrast to the values of the world. From the start, Jesus proclaimed a new way of living—a kingdom that is near, but radically different from the kingdoms we’re used to. Through Scripture and parables, we were reminded that God’s kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36) and is often likened to something small and seemingly insignificant—like a mustard seed (Matthew 13:31-32)—that grows into something far greater than expected.
